I am an evidence seeker and advocate for treating the root cause of mental illness. I have a Master of Science in Functional Medicine & Human Nutrition that compliments my Bachelors of Science in Community Health Education & Human Biology and am currently a Certified Nutrition Specialist resident.

For nearly a decade I have been researching models of healthcare, biochemistry, and nutrition with the dream of improving quality of life for people suffering from depression and anxiety. I believe that Functional Medicine is the key framework to reducing suffering and improving mental wellbeing.

Along the way I realized just how complicated it has become to navigate wellness. How do you know if you are investing in a product because it would benefit your body, or if the marketing was just done really well done?

The model considers the biodirectional relationship between how our bodies interact with our environment to help us understand and make changes that promotes balance.
